1/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Golden brown sugar; (packed)
1/3 c Water
2 tb Butter
3 tb Frangelico; (hazelnut
-liqueur)
; or amaretto
1/3 c Hazelnuts; (about 2 ounces),
; toasted, husked,
; chopped
Vanilla frozen yogurt or ice
-cream
1 Basket fresh blackberries;
-(1/2-pint)

Blackberry And Hazelnut Sundaes Preparation

Combine sugar, brown sugar and water in heavy small saucepan. Stir over medium-low heat until both sugars dissolve. Add butter and stir until melted. Increase heat and boil until sauce is reduced to 1/2 cup, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Mix in Frangelico and nuts. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Let stand at room temperature.
