Cooking Ingredients for Hungarian Baked Pork Chops Recipe

6 Pork Chops
1 Clove garlic
1 ts Caraway Seeds; Crushed
2 ts Hungarian Paprika; mild
1/2 ts Salt
Pepper to taste
1 c White wine
1 c Cour cream; optional

Hungarian Baked Pork Chops Preparation

1. Place the pork chops in an ovenproof casserole. 2. Mix the remaining ingredients, except sour cream, and pour over the chops. 3. Marinate the chops 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator. 4. Bake the chops, uncovered, in the marinade in a preheated 325 degree F. oven for 1 hour or until tender, add more wine if necessary. 5.Stir sour cream into pan juices and heat through but DO NOT boil. Serving Ideas : Serve chops with buttered noodles or dumplings on Feb 20, 1998
