  • Singapore's version(Mars Attack)

    1 c Sifted flour
    1 ts Salt
    3/4 c Cold water
    1/4 ts Baking powder
    4 Mars or other caramel
    -covered candy bars
    Shortening or oil for frying

    2 Scoop of Vanilla ice cream
    Loads of chocolate syrup (Personal preference)

    1. Chill the mars bars overnight first.
    2. Cut the mars bars into thirds, or quarters.
    3. Mix flour, salt, and water until smooth, cover, and let stand at room temperature 20 to 30 minutes.
    4. Stir baking powder into batter.
    5. Place shortening or oil in a deep fat fryer, insert thermometer, and begin heating over high heat.
    6. Dip candy bars into batter, allowing excess to drain off. Fry in 375 degree fat until golden and crisp.
    7. Drain on paper toweling.
    8. Scoop out the ice cream on a nice serving bowl
    9. Drip chocolate sauce in a zig zag manner and serve.
