1/2 Stick butter; (2 ounces)
1/4 c All purpose flour
8 Potatoes; peeled and diced
2 tb Dried thyme
Freshly ground black pepper

4 c Half and half
1/4 c Fresh Italian parsley;

Wild Mushroom Chowder Preparation
Saute the mushrooms and onions in the butter until the onions are translucent. Stir in the flour. Put this mixture into a medium saucepan along with the potatoes, thyme, pepper, and half-and-half. Cover and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes. Stir frequently, taking care not to let the chowder burn. Serve it topped, with the Italian parsley. S: 2 to 4 servings Converted by MC_Buster.
