This Free Recipe ‘VIENNESE SANDWICHES’ requires the following ingredients:

1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Margarine or butter, softene
1 Egg
2 c All-purpose flour*
1/2 c Ground pecans
1/4 c Apricot jam
1 pk (6 ounces) semisweet
-Chocolate chips
2 tb Shortening

*self-rising flour can be used In this recipe. Mix sugar, margarine and egg. Stir in flour and pecans. Shape into roll 12 inches long. Wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours or until firm.Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut roll into 1/4-inch slices. Place about 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 15 minutes or until light golden brown; cool. Put 1/2 teaspoon jam between 2 cookies to form sandwich. Heat chocolate chips and shortening over low heat until melted. Dip about half of each cookie sandwich into chocolate mixture. ABOUT 2 DOZEN COOKIES; 210 CALORIES PER COOKIE.

How to easily cook Free Recipe: Delicious Dessert

In a mixing bowl, cut margarine into flour. Add 1/4 cup walnuts. Then pat into an ungreased 9 by 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Cool. Now mix cream cheese and sugar. Add 1/2 cup cool whip to mixture. Spread on to cool crust. Mix both pudding mixes with milk. Mix until semi-firm. Spread on top of crust and cheese mixture. Directions: Heat oven to 375. Grease bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients except glaze in order listed, mixing well after each addition. Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake at 375 for 35 to 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool 10 minutes; drizzle with glaze. Makes 48 bars. Lemon Glaze: Combine 1 cup Confectioners” sugar and 2 T lemon juice; stir until smooth.
